Remote high elevation ridgetop with access by Allegheny Trail. Forests are Oak - Hickory and mixed mesophytic. Trail here is little used beyond the lookout tower.;Sandstone ridgeline with bedrock outcrops forming sloping shrubby openings. Exposed rock faces with moderate cover by lichens and mosses. A single large, but short, white Oak is in plot and there are other large snags and scattered living and dying trees. Shrub cover is dominated by Deerberry, Cherry, and Gooseberry. Some trampleing apparent.

Most exposed bedrock along ridgeline with small patch openings and few gnarled trees.
